Estate Planning and Probate
Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer's estate planning and probate clients include individuals, bank trust departments, trust companies, and charitable organizations.
- Estate Planning. The firm represents clients in retirement and succession planning to minimize estate taxes and to preserve assets for other family members. The firm provides advice on health care powers of attorney and living wills and frequently works with clients to provide for the transfer of closely-held business interests.
- Estate Administration/Probate. The firm participates and assists in the probate, administration, and settlement of estates, including post-mortem planning and the preparation and filing of the estate tax return for the estate.
- Estate Litigation. The firm represents clients in will contests, construction proceedings, contested accountings, and other litigation involving estates and trusts.
