Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer's trial attorneys practice in all state and federal courts in Vermont and New Hampshire, representing clients at trial and on appeals.
- Commercial Litigation. The firm represents clients in a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including contract and sales, insurance, foreclosure, lender liability, bankruptcy adversarial proceedings, franchises, consumer fraud, trademark and copyright, antitrust, accountant liability, and construction litigation.
- Product Liability Litigation. The firm serves as trial counsel to both national and local product manufacturers on claims of defective product design, failure to warn, beach of warranty and other theories of liability, in cases involving personal injury, property damage and wrongful death.
- Professional Liability Litigation. The firm represents a variety of professionals on liability claims ranging from accountants, surveyors, and realtors to insurance agents, attorneys and medical providers.
- Employment Litigation. The firm represents employers and employees in actions founded on age, sex, and other types of discrimination and on unlawful discharge claims before state and federal courts and agencies.
- Insurance Coverage Litigation. The firm represents insurers and insureds in litigation related to coverage issues, extracontractual exposure, claims handling and claims of bad faith, including class actions, declaratory judgment litigation, and settlement negotiations.
- Intellectual Property Litigation. The firm represents clients in litigation arising out of trademark and copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, appropriation of proprietary materials, unfair trade practices, enforcement of non-disclosure and non-competition agreements, and other intellectual property matters.
- Probate Litigation. The firm represents estates and beneficiaries in proceedings related to the probate or interpretation of wills and in contested estate or trust accounting procedures.
- Environmental Litigation. The firm represents plaintiffs and defendants in litigation and contested administrative actions related to Vermont's Act 250 and other environmental and development laws and regulations.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution. The firm provides representation in a variety of ADR venues, including binding AAA arbitrations, uninsured motorist arbitration, court-ordered mediation and private mediation. Several of the firm's attorneys also serve as arbitrators and mediators.
- Tort Actions. The firm represents parties in civil tort actions of all types.
