Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer advises clients with respect to federal and state laws governing trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, domain names, and licensing. The firm assists clients in obtaining federal and state protection of intellectual property and also assists with international aspects of intellectual property law.
- Counseling. The firm assists clients in recognizing, protecting, and exploiting the value of their intellectual property. It conducts intellectual property searches and audits, both for internal use and in connection with the acquisition or disposition of businesses, and advises clients regarding the protection of intellectual property through state and federal registration.
- Transactions. The firm negotiates and drafts license, joint venture/strategic partner, technology transfer, manufacturing, distribution, development and employment-related agreements, including non-disclosure and non-competition agreements.
- Litigation. The firm represents clients - from both a plaintiff and defendant perspective - in litigation arising out of trademark and copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, unfair trade practices, enforcement of non-disclosure and non-competition agreements, and other intellectual property matters.
