Keith Jones concentrates in the areas of financial services, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance and litigation. His practice is largely focused on the formation and operation of captive insurance companies. He assists single parent and group captive insurance companies, risk retention groups, and risk purchasing groups in planning, formation, operation, dissolution, and compliance. Keith's litigation practice primarily involves banking, bankruptcy, creditor's rights and the protection of debtors. Keith also has experience working on claims and coverage issues for professional liability insurers, including coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and the insured's duty to cooperate. Keith graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 1999 and from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2004, where he served as an Executive Board member for the Hale Moot Court Honors Program and was awarded the Mason C. Brown Award for commitment to justice and trial advocacy skill. Keith served as a judicial extern in the chambers of the Honorable Napoleon A. Jones, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California in 2003. Keith was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2004 and joined the firm as an Associate in 2006. |
