Victoria Brown practices in the areas of energy law and intellectual property law. On the energy side, she represents electric utilities, cable companies, telecommunications providers, water companies, and industrial interveners in matters before the Vermont Public Service Board, including rule making, licensing, rate making, facilities siting, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and enforcement. She also advises utility companies on corporate matters, including governance, power purchase and other agreements, and real property and easement issues. Vickie is listed among The Best Lawyers in America in the field of energy law.

In addition to her work with public utilities, Vickie also has extensive experience in intellectual property law, advising business and individual clients in the areas of trademarks, copyright, licensing and trade secrets.

Vickie received her law degree from Cornell Law School in 1986. She holds a Bachelor of Science in English education, cum laude, and Master of Arts in English Literature from Bowling Green State University. Prior to attending law school, Vickie was an adjunct instructor of writing at Bluffton College in Bluffton, Ohio. Before joining the firm, Vickie was an associate with Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan in Washington, D.C., specializing in regulatory practice before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the U. S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Vickie lives in Essex Junction, Vermont, with her husband Scot Kline and three sons.
